need to feed
Y&E has partnered with community organizations and agencies to provide meals to children, adults, and entire families during these heightened times of uncertainty. The system we’ve put in place thrives on the existing works of food providers, while also being an additional resource the community can lean on for food. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Over 600 backpacks were given out to families! We want to say thank you to the volunteers and supporters that made this possible!
We partnered with American Red Cross for a blood drive! Our goal was to collect 30 pints of bloods, but we ended with 45 pints! That will potentially save 135 lives.
Easter basket event
We gave out over 300 Easter baskets! It was great to see all the smiling faces. Thank you to everyone that helped us make this happen!
Christmas with coaches
Our first annual Christmas with Coaches was a success! A few organizations and several awesome people in our community came together to help us provide a free basketball clinic, Christmas dinner, and gifts to 55 middle school boys in our community. Thank you to Brent L. Owen, University of Southern Indiana men’s basketball team, volunteers, and everyone that played a role in making today a success.
Y&E Annual Toy Drive
The Y&E Community Toy Drive brought in more than 6,000 donations and helped over 1,000 families! Taking over Toys for Tots this year wasn’t easy, but we were able to bless so many families because of our very own community coming together. Thank you to everyone that played a part in making this happen!
Boys to men conference
The Boys to Men Conference features special motivational and inspirational sessions, training seminars and speakers that focus on preparing our young males for manhood and to be positive forces of change and elevation for our communities and the world.
We partnered with Men's Wearhouse to provide suits, ties and other dress clothes to those in need.

We invited everyone with an investment in our community to join us for the Evansville High Five Rally! We greet, encourage and empower students as they enter school.
Our annual backpack drive is a partnership with Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library. We giveaway 550+ backpacks to students filled with school supplies! Also, we partnered with Jerald's Barbershop and 9 Fruits Beauty Salon to give kids free haircuts.
The goal is to involve the entire community in picking up trash, filling potholes, covering graffiti, etc.
