Washer & Dryer Program

One in five students struggle with access to clean clothes, which leads to students missing school and those kids who miss school are seven times more likely to drop out.

We decided to break down this barrier to attendance by providing every school in Evansville with a washer and dryer.

Cooking Class

We’re partner with Chef Stanley Trice and Ivy Tech for this program. Children will learn lifetime skills by practicing basic math skills such as counting, weighing, measuring, and tracking time. They also gain social skills by working together and communicating in the kitchen. Plus, teaching the youth how to cook is an opportunity to teach nutrition education like planning meals and making smart food choices.

Granddaddy's Garden spot

Granddaddy's Garden Spot will increase access to local food, inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and help local residents maintain a healthy lifestyle through agriculture and gardening.

Art SHowcase

We had our first art showcase event on April 1st at the DoubleTree by Hilton Evansville. There were so many amazing artists that got to showcase their talent, and our guest speaker, Ashley Nora, left everyone inspired after her speech. We are already looking forward to the next event! Stay tuned!
